Start with a readiness audit

The first deliverable

A clear readiness picture of your batch.

The Starting Point

Most placement cells are working without one thing: visibility.

Your faculty is committed and your TPO works hard. The issue is student-by-student clarity: who is ready for which role, and what is holding everyone else back.

Before Partnership

Placement work without visibility

  • Readiness is judged by CGPA and resumes, neither of which recruiters trust fully.
  • Training is one-size-fits-all and scheduled close to placement season.
  • Students discover their gaps in the interview room.
  • The TPO chases recruiters with a headcount, not a skills profile.
  • Management sees placement numbers only after the season ends.

After 120 days with FirstConnection

A live, skills-backed placement engine

  • Every participating student has a verified, role-specific readiness score.
  • Each student follows a training path built around their own gaps.
  • Students practise in AI-led mock interviews before a real panel.
  • The TPO walks into recruiter conversations with a batch-level skills report.
  • Management tracks readiness month by month, not after the fact.

The Partnership Journey

Four phases, one academic semester.

Each phase ends with something your institution can hold in its hands. Timelines flex around your calendar and exam weeks.

Week 0-2

Placement Readiness Audit

Students take an AI-generated assessment built for their programme: aptitude plus role-specific rounds for CSE, B.Tech AI/ML and MBA specialisations.

YOU RECEIVE: A batch readiness report and an individual report card for every participating student.

Week 2-6

Personalised training paths

Students are grouped by the gaps the audit found. Each group gets a path that blends AI-guided practice with industry mentor sessions.

YOU RECEIVE: Cohort-wise training plans and weekly progress visibility for the TPO.

Week 6-12

Interview Arena and verified scoring

Students rehearse in AI-led mock interviews that score communication, problem solving and role knowledge. Improvement is measured, not claimed.

YOU RECEIVE: A before-and-after readiness comparison for the batch, ready for management.

Week 12-16

Recruiter connect

FirstConnection brings opportunities matched to verified student profiles, so recruiters receive a skills-backed shortlist instead of a list of names.

YOU RECEIVE: Matched job opportunities, role shortlists and a season-end partnership review.

What Your TPO Sees

Your report is built entirely from your students' results. These figures show the format only.

Questions Colleges Ask

Before you decide.

What does it take to begin?+

A conversation with your TPO, a coordinator, and one lab slot. The readiness audit is on us, so you see your batch's real picture before any further commitment.

Do you guarantee placements?+

No. Hiring decisions belong to recruiters. We commit to measurable readiness, visible progress and real opportunities matched to verified student skills.

Which programmes are covered?+

Assessments are ready for B.Tech CSE, B.Tech AI/ML and MBA specialisations, including HR. Other programmes can be added on discussion.

Will this add work for our faculty?+

Very little. Assessments, scoring, practice and reporting run on our platform. Your coordinator focuses on scheduling and student communication.

How is student data handled?+

Student data is used only to assess, train and match that student. Reports are shared with the placement cell under the MoU, and students can see their own results.
