Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective date: May 6, 2026. This policy applies to services offered by Vaish Services LLP through the FirstConnection platform.

FirstConnection handles live sessions, subscriptions, recruitment mandates, and partner services. The terms below explain when cancellations are allowed and when refunds are eligible.

1. DTR Connect (Recruiter-Candidate Sessions)

  • More than 24 hours before a session: full refund to the FirstConnection wallet or original source.
  • Between 2 and 24 hours before a session: 50% refund.
  • Less than 2 hours before the session or no-show: no refund.
  • If a recruiter cancels, fails to join, or verified misconduct occurs, the candidate receives a 100% refund.
  • If a session is interrupted due to FirstConnection server issues, it will be rescheduled at no extra cost or fully refunded.

2. Hire-for-Sure (B2B Recruitment Mandates)

  • Hiring specifications must be finalized in the digital mandate form before payment.
  • Standard turnaround time is 45 to 60 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • Full refund applies if FirstConnection fails to provide the agreed number of vetted candidates within the turnaround time.
  • Partial refunds apply for partially fulfilled mandates, with refunds for unfulfilled roles processed within 7 working days.
  • No refund applies if the client closes the role internally or through another agency before our turnaround time ends, or does not respond to introductions for 10 consecutive days.
  • One free replacement is provided if a hired candidate exits within 30 days for full-time roles or 7 days for internships, subject to policy conditions.

3. Subscription Plans (Candidate and Recruiter)

  • Used Logic Audit or AI Interview credits are non-refundable.
  • Recruiter dashboard subscription fees are non-refundable once the premium dashboard has been accessed.
  • Unused Buddy Agent credits or profile unlocks only carry forward if the subscription is renewed before expiry.

4. College and University Partners

  • Annual institutional subscriptions cancelled mid-year may receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining full months, less a 10% administrative setup fee.
  • If FirstConnection fails to host the promised number of exclusive campus drives under the MOU, the institution may receive a partial refund or service extension.

5. Event Cancellations

  • If FirstConnection cancels a virtual job fair for technical or safety reasons, a 100% refund or event credit will be issued.
  • Student tickets to premium masterclasses or virtual fairs are non-refundable if cancellation is requested less than 48 hours before the event.

6. General Provisions

  • Users found phishing for data, asking for off-platform payments, or bypassing the DTR Connect gateway will be banned immediately.
  • In cases of misconduct or policy bypass, any remaining balance or subscription fee is strictly non-refundable.
  • Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
