1. Our Core Privacy Principles

  • User Sovereignty: You control what information is public. Your data is not visible to recruiters unless you pass a vetting stage, apply for a role, or opt in to a DTR session.
  • Data Integrity: We do not sell personal data to third parties. Our business model is built on successful career connections, not data brokerage.
  • Secure Communication: Through DTR Connect, personal contact numbers are protected and communication happens through secure platform flows.

2. Information We Collect

  • Candidate Data: Name, email, phone number, educational background, Credo Room recordings and transcripts, and Logic Audit results.
  • Recruiter Data: Name, designation, company name, LinkedIn profile, and payout details such as UPI IDs or bank account information.
  • Technical and Usage Data: IP address, browser details, navigation patterns, device identifiers, and operating system versions.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To run Credo Room analytics and generate interview performance feedback.
  • To power DTR Connect and facilitate recruiter-candidate interactions without exposing private phone numbers.
  • To personalize role recommendations, Logic Patches, and other platform experiences.
  • To manage secure payment, escrow, payout, and withdrawal workflows.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • With your consent when you apply for a job or book a DTR session and we need to share your vetted profile with a specific recruiter.
  • To comply with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
  • With trusted service providers such as cloud and payment partners who are contractually required to protect your data.

5. Secure Communication Guarantee

  • Recruiters and candidates cannot view each other's private phone numbers during DTR Connect sessions.
  • Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and dispute resolution where necessary.

6. Cookie Policy

  • We use session cookies to recognize returning users, maintain account state, and improve user experience.
  • You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the service, including login, may stop working correctly.

7. Storage, Security and Deletion

  • We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption for personal data.
  • We retain data only while your account remains active or as required for legal or operational purposes.
  • You may request account deactivation and permanent data deletion by emailing support@firstconnection.in.

8. Payments and Withdrawals

  • FirstConnection acts as an escrow layer for mentorship and recruitment sessions.
  • Recruiter payouts are held until the relevant session is successfully completed.
  • Payment card details are processed by secure third-party gateways and are not fully stored by us.
